The potential secretive occupation along the US - Mexico border through an investigation in abstract cartography
I examined the role of the cartographer based on the realities that :
1. There are many possible depictions of maps. 2. A map is a representation that leads to enlightenment. 3. A consequence of enlightenment or illumination is the revelation that occurs when physical fact and observation intersect with imagination and invention.
A map describes a place as well as this process, and the cartographer both replicates and conceives.
The resultant is an urban fabric that becomes obliterated, manipulated and constructed in order for one to consider it as occupiable or programmable.
