Zach Kuehn, RA, NCARB
Zach is an architect at Renzo Piano Building Workshop where he joined Genova office in 2017 to work on the Whittle Schools & Studios Shenzhen campus. This building represents the first Whittle School & Studios project in China and will be part of a system of 30 WSS campuses in the World’s leading cities. He currently works as the project architect & on site representative for the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. The project serves as the Institute’s headquarters and will be a place for research, public engagement and collaboration modeled after the ancient Athenian agora. While at RPBW he was also a member of the Whittle School Shenzhen campus Phase 2 design and Brooklyn Campus working in both the Genova and New York offices - as well as on site in Shenzhen and Baltimore during project construction. Prior to joining RPBW Zach spent 7 years at Gensler in the New York City office including 4 years as an Associate.
He is a licensed architect in the State of New York & received his architectural degree from Syracuse University.
Prior to his architectural endeavors, Zach’s childhood was spent adventuring throughout a small landlocked town in Ohio, which explains his love of sailing & fascination with the sea.
